An epoxy painted garage floor inspires a fresh look and feel that endures the wear and tear of garage life and the test of time. The beauty and durability of your new epoxy painted floor expands the traditional garage into another room in your home.
An epoxy painted garage floor provides you with protection as well as beauty. Oil drips and other foreign matter will not soak into the concrete leaving stains and exposing your family to toxic fumes. The corrosive minerals from your water system will also be blocked out, protecting your cement from that decaying look around the edges.
Choose between a solid color, partial chip, or full chip epoxy for that polished granite look. The surface is easily swept and cleaned to provide years of a fresh looking show place atmosphere to greet you and your friends.

Our products are manufactured locally and formulated to withstand the harsh Arizona climate. We use MaxBond High Performance 2-part acrylic epoxy primer, providing for the best adhesion possible. Max Bond epoxy provides years of service in industrial and commercial applications and is particularly suited for use on concrete floors subjected to severe service conditions. Additionally, this product may be applied to most generic coating types without fear of lifting or wrinkling. All of our epoxy coatings are top coated with an industrial grade solid and clear UV inhibitive 2-part solvent based urethane. Once cured, our floor coatings are resistant to hot tire pickup and have excellent color and gloss retention.
We begin by preparing the concrete for coating. In some cases (depending on the condition of the concrete) we acid etch, neutralized, power wash, and dry the concrete to achieve a profile. In situations where concrete already has an existing coating or is heavily damaged we grind in order to achieve a profile. Minor chips and cracks are patched and filled. Proper preparation is critical to ensuring the applied coatings will endure the elements and test of time for years to come.
Once a profile is acheived and repairs are complete, we apply one coat of 2-part Max Bond acrylic epoxy to the concrete. Max Bond epoxy does an excellent job of soaking in and adhering to the profiled surface as well as providing a medium for upcoming urethane top coat applications.
Once the epoxy has been applied and is fully dry, we apply a coat of 2-part tinted urethane. For solid color floors, this serves as the final coat. A non-slip additive can be incorporated into the urethane for added traction. For partial and full chip floors, decorative chips (see chip samples) are broadcast by hand into the wet urethane.
Next, we scrape and extract any excess chips. Then, for partial chip floors, a single coat of UV and chemical resistant clear gloss 2-part urethane is applied. For full chip floors 2 coats of clear urethane is applied for maximum durability.
Epoxy floors done right will last for many years. There is a process with many steps to coating a floor. If shortcuts are taken or the process isn’t done precisely the floor can bubble, chip, and scratch off within a short period of time. Routine periodic maintenance is a breeze, take a look at our AFTERCARE PAMPHLET for more valuable information!
